Scupper Monkey Island
This special area of the Portland Pirate Festival is devoted to kids and includes five giant inflatable rides to suit a variety of ages, from toddler to adult. Besides rides, Scupper Monkey Island features a variety of kids entertainment and vendors, including puppets shows, strolling entertainers, a storytelling stage, and free face painting and temporary tattoos!
"The CUTEST Show On Earth!"
Each show stars kids, ages four and up and an adult from the audience. These Star Performers dress in costumes that quickly slip over their clothes and after just a bit of instruction they put on a 30-minute show with two professional entertainers. 
"Pirate Adventure" features Cute pirates, beautiful mermaids, mischievous monkeys, an overly chatty parrot, and the evil Captain Green Beard who all come together for a grand adventure in search of – what else? TREASURE! The catch is.......that the greatest treasures aren’t gold or pearls at all. The newest addition to the Let’s Pretend Entertainment line up includes a stunning set, clever costumes and a truly valuable message.
Mud Bay Jugglers
This extraordinary juggling troupe's unique approach to juggling incorporates abstract movement, mime-like facial expressions and gestures, all aimed at emotionally expressive communication with the audience. Comprised of Doug Martin, Alan Fitzthum, Harry Levine, and Tom Gorski, the Mud Bay Jugglers have been performing together since the early 1980s. "The Curse of the Jolly Roger" Puppet Show
A heroic boy and his sea serpent set out to stop the ghost of Captain Jolly Roger and lift the

Exotic Bird Rescue
Colorful parrots and Macaws from jungles around the world will be on site and available for education and to promote conservation of these beautiful birds. Exotic Bird Rescue is a group that helps birds that need homes.
Willamette Bird Club, an educational Companion Parrot Club, is delighted to be participating in the 4th Annual Portland Pirate Festival. After all, what’s a Pirate without a Parrot?
