Scupper Monkey Island

This special area of the Portland Pirate Festival is devoted to kids and includes five giant inflatable rides to suit a variety of ages, from toddler to adult. Besides rides, Scupper Monkey Island features a variety of kids entertainment and vendors, including puppets shows, strolling entertainers, a storytelling stage, and free face painting and temporary tattoos!

Mud Bay Jugglers

This extraordinary juggling troupe's unique approach to juggling incorporates abstract movement, mime-like facial expressions and gestures, all aimed at emotionally expressive communication with the audience. Comprised of Doug Martin, Alan Fitzthum, Harry Levine, and Tom Gorski, the Mud Bay Jugglers have been performing together since the early 1980s. Pirates of the Cursed Seas games by WizKids

This interactive strategy game is easy to learn, fun to play and challanging for all age levels. Privateers will be there to show you how to play this table-top, Pocket-sized game, both with over-sized ships in the unique lawn game, as well as on several actual-sized play tables. There will be regular tournaments, a Pirate's Prize Wheel and LOTS of giveaways! The Pirate and his Pet Puppet Show

This popular puppet show by Dragon Theater Puppets is back for its third year at Portland Pirate Festival. A young boy find courage and the truth about Captain Snagglebottom when he receives help from his new friends after losing his parents at sea. Along the way he meets all sorts of great characters as well as a sea serpent who becomes his pet. The sea serpent learns how to be brave and the boy finds his parents, learning that stealing is wrong and teamwork can save the day. http://dragontheater.com

Clowns Unlimited Climbing Wall

The Clowns Unlimited 24' vertical climbing wall provides a safe and challenging climbing experience for kids. The wall features four climbing areas that vary in difficulty and is equipped with safety harnesses. (Extra fee for this attraction.)

 

 

Exotic Bird Rescue

Colorful parrots and Macaws from jungles around the world will be on site and available for education and to promote conservation of these beautiful birds. Exotic Bird Rescue is a group that helps birds that need homes.
