Scupper Monkey Island
This special area of the Portland Pirate Festival is devoted to kids and includes four giant inflatable rides to suit a variety of ages, from toddler to adult. Besides rides, Scupper Monkey Island features a variety of kids entertainment and vendors, including puppets shows, strolling entertainers, a storytelling stage, live parrots, activities and free balloon creations & temporary tattoos for the wee pirates!
The Zambini Brothers 
Based on Vashon Island WA, Zambini Brothers is a troupe of puppeteer/artists who perform their splendiferously wonderful Giant Puppets, Roving Comedy Characters and Puppet Shows at fairs, festivals, schools, libraries, and events throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Keep a weather eye out for the giant sea-monster and "the small pirate on a very large chicken?" Only good things can come from this. "Pirate Adventure" 
Features Cute pirates, beautiful mermaids, mischievous monkeys, an overly chatty parrot, and the evil Captain Green Beard who all come together for a grand adventure in search of – what else? TREASURE! The catch is.......that the greatest treasures aren’t gold or pearls at all. The newest addition to the Let’s Pretend Entertainment line up includes a stunning set, clever costumes and a truly valuable message.
"The CUTEST Show On Earth!"
Each show stars kids, ages four and up and an adult from the audience. These Star Performers dress in costumes that quickly slip over their clothes and after just a bit of instruction they put on a 30-minute show with two professional entertainers.

Shawnry Connry tells all about the sea creatures while a small seahorse and a sting ray escape sharks, jellyfish, angler fish and the most deadly thing in the sea: pollution! Their friends; Manta Ray, a dolphin, puffer fish, octopus and many other sea life come togeather to help them as well as to celebrate life in the sea.
"The Pirate and his Pet"
A heroic boy named Joey is on a quest to find his parents, having lost his belongings to one banker's greedy ways. On his journey he meets swash buckling pirates, a courageous mermaid and a timid sea serpent. This brave boy will not settle until his parents are found. www.dragontheater.com
Parrots 4 Show
Parrots4show is dedicated to educating the public about parrots and their care, while entertaining everyone with the stars of the show: Kalia, Calypso, Buster, and Lindiwe.
